The Provincial College for Health Professions “Claudiana” has its foundations in the autonomous powers of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen in the fields of professional training and further education. It performs this primary responsibility in a comprehensive and absolutely independent manner and as an equal partner within the framework of European norms; it takes all decisions that are of special significance for the Province yet at the same time conforms to the training modalities of the Universities of Verona and Ferrara, as well as the “Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” and the „La Sapienza“ in Rome. The Baccalaureat courses are established within the School of Medicine and Surgery.

All courses are being taught in Italian and German 50%-50%.
Practice relevant research in the areas of chronic illnesses, person-centred care, family care, interprofessional collaboration, patient safety and quality of nursing care and students‘ perceived stress in clinical training.
